Lorne and I both work in Sisseton.  Lorne is the Tribal Liaison for NRCS and I work in the business area for the Sisseton School District.  We are still living in Veblen where we are very involved in our community and Church.  We enjoy spending time with our boys and grandson and look forward to summers where you will find us at our lake cabin.

Comments: I've been happily married to Kathy Lyman (1980 classmate Rich's little sister) since 1983 and we have two children, Kernels classes of 2008 & 2009.  We lived in Phoenix area for a while before moving back to SD in 2002.  Hightlights? The 25th anniversary trip Kathy and I took to California for a 3-day music festival in Golden Gate Park stands out (see pix).  Then, this one time, at band camp, I won a radio contest (best joke with the word "brown" in it) for tickets & backstage passes to Jackson Browne concert.  When I was introduced to JB after the show he asked me to tell him the joke.  He didn't think it was funny.  Crack me up to this day!

Comments:  Jeffrey Scott Blaalid passed away in Mission Viejo, CA of a heart attack.  Born in Yankton, and a graduate of Mitchell High School and School of Mines, he moved to California to work for Rockwell International.

Jeff married Kathleen Finley in 1989 and they have two sons, Douglas and Ryan.  Jeff worked in computer research and development for storage solutions.  At the time of his death, he worked for iStor Networks, Inc. in Irvine, California.  He was devoted to his family and spent much of his time teaching Junior High Sunday School and running the church sound system.
